In addition, depending on the weapon your mentee wields, during the battle you will use these or other techniques and then upgrade what you have or buy new but of the category corresponding to the main character. There are lots of novelties in the game but let us put it in order. So, the first thing that we see after starting the game is a little re-designed interface of the main menu and more detailed graphics. Yes, it is visible even before you start the first battle, just imagine! Honestly speaking, it’s very hard to find the words to describe the perfection of these graphics as we were already out of them in the review of the first part of the game. And bear in mind that here they are significantly better! Locations designed almost in 3D have obtained the animation thanks to which we can witness even the change of the weather and the time of year.

Looking at the decorations of the first level we can clearly recognize that the fighting takes place in Fall. This is illustrated not only with the color of the grass and leaves of the trees but also with the never-ending leaf fall. There are notably more weapons in this game. While in the first part of the game we were to be content with missiles, machine-gun turrets, freezers and electrical systems alone, this game provides us with a laser gun at the very first challenge.

Besides, you will have the opportunity to use other types of weapons but they will be unlocked gradually. Temporary use of the increased power of weaponry and its modernization are performed by the same principle as in the first part. That is, you need to wait until the construction of a new gun is completed, and only then you can rely on it. One more difference of this game lies in the fact that you can speed up the gameplay fourfold, not twice as it was in the prequel.

Defense zone is a just amazing game of the Tower Defense genre which was recently available only for iOS and Android but finally made it to Windows Phone. The first thing that catches the eye is the graphics of highest quality which don’t get worse even if you do maximum zoom in of the playing field. Whether they are your weapons or enemy’s equipment, the detalization of objects looks perfect. Animation is also extremely nice, and you can see how barrels of machine-gun turrets roll during the shooting at the enemy.

At least it is advisable to get another cannon, let it be even of low capacity, before you launch the third and next upgrades. Among enemy’s military forces you will find infantry, light and moderate equipments as well as heavy vehicles and aircraft. At this, the latter is also rather various, and if at first challenges you see attack planes of the World War II alone, then there will emerge quite modern fighter aircraft above the playing field.

Weapons’ additional features

For each type of equipment there is the most efficient corresponding weapon so don’t get stuck on constructing machine-gun turrets forgetting about an air-defense missile system. Your weapons have one more ability that will help you numerous times. In short, watch for the green halo appearing round cannons. As soon as this occurs, the weapon is ready for counterstrike. You only need to select with a click a certain cannon and press the line of the pop-up menu with the red-colored word Hellfire on it – thus your weapon will start to bomb the enemy at an increased rate.

Conclusion

This schtick is very useful when the enemy’s onslaught is strong or when the upgrade of existing weapons is not completed yet and the enemy has already appeared on the battlefield. The function is active just a few seconds but believe us, the enemy will suffer terribly during this little moments. Angry Birds Go! is a long-awaited game from Rovio in which you will meet old friends again, the birds and pigs. In this game, you will be engaged into another battle between the main characters but this time it will be aimed at winning some incredible races on unique routes by extremely funny trucks and cars.

Gameplay

The slingshots will also be present in this game but they will only be used as a catapult which helps cars move from the start with an incredible acceleration. At that, the slingshots will be possessed not only by you, but also by the pigs. Before each race, you should wait for the countdown. False start in the game is not welcome and if you rush to start earlier than the pigs or other feathered ones, your car will be spun so hard that you will be able to start the race only after rivals get ahead.

Generally, we should probably mention more friendly relations between the birds and pigs, for they fought each other for almost three years and now suddenly have a truce and even in the form of sports events. The pigs will even be mechanics for your birds. However, they are sometimes so slyly grinning after you define a car in the garage, that one involuntarily begins to have thoughts that you are given a real wreck which is unable to get to the finish.

In fact, your most dangerous rivals are the birds. At the beginning of the game, you will control a harmless red bird which didn't feature any special abilities even in the previous games from Rovio. The time will come, and together with the pigs you will be competed by a pink bird scattering bubbles behind it that greatly slow down vehicles of the opponents (and yours is included).

After each race, you can upgrade your vehicle, and there will be the time when you win the pink bird and then convert it to your team and can manage it well. However, at this time a new rival will ripe which is be a black bird. Remember how it differs from the others? Here it won't feel sorry for anyone as well when throwing bombs on the road exploding after a few seconds and preventing you form getting ahead.

Nuances of Angry Birds Go!

There are really lots of nuances in the game. Real Speed

Real Speed is a pretty good simulator of racing by sports cars for Windows Phone, in which you will compete for the first place against three other players. The game provides a total of six cars and four tracks, and it's probably the game's only disadvantage. You will not find here the licensed cars, that is, there are simply no such vehicles in reality, although there are some similarities of some of them with well-known sports cars, of course.

Game features

The fact that the cars in this game were invented by the developers, cannot be a cause for frustration for one simple reason - they look very qualitatively and behave on the road more than natural, except that here it is impossible to encounter a rival since the cars just pass through each other. But as for the rest, the physics are on top. You will feel every little bump while driving on the side of the road and will be tired of coming back from grass or a sand curb on track after every proper skid. The latter, by the way, will be galore in the game.

Difficult moments

To be honest, we failed to even understand why there is a button among the means of controlling responsible for hand-braking, while its activation even at a low speed causes an almost complete loss of control over the vehicle. The quality of the track and its surroundings truly deserves respect. The only thing missing on the smartphone screen is the route map with the current location, which is why every turn will be a big surprise for you.

Some complexity is added by the fact that neither your vehicle not the vehicles of your opponents have the tail lamps turning on during braking. If they worked, we could follow the speed rate at least at the expense of the car ahead, but here we are as well given the opportunity to fly out the roar at full speed and collide with fencing. The vehicle won't suffer from such accidents but the time will be wasted.

We cannot say that the opponents keep on the track very well. Among them there will certainly be those who will from time to time fly out the track just like you do, but it would be silly to participate in races while hoping only that the opponents will make mistakes. It is better to gain experience and try to make fewer errors yourself.

Controlling

By default, the steering is carried out by an accelerometer and some virtual buttons are responsible for acceleration and brakes. In the game settings, you can turn the steering touch, but after a couple of races we realized that it isn't good because the car simply starts rolling from side to side. The tracks in the game are small but have a lot of turns, so you may not hope for a soon crossing the finish line.

In general, the game is pretty decent. The main thing is to get used to the sensitive controlling and lack of navigational aids, and then you will be able to show the rear bumper to all the participants both at the start and at the finish.
